Sunday Stack :: July TBR

June 30, 2019

Tonight we say goodbye to June, and hello to the second half of 2019! No I cannot believe it!
I have read some books I have loved so far this year, and there are a whole lot on my radar that I think I'm going to be really into as well! I might do a few round ups of faves so far, or most anticipated lists, but today I've got a quick TBR stack of my five next reads - which will probably make up most of what  read in July. These are all books that I feel under some kind of obligation to read for one reason or another, but they also all look like reads I'll enjoy (I really do my very best not to end up obliged to read things I won't like!). I will probably end up reviewing each of these here, so I'm not going to say much about them except the reason they've made it to the top of my stack (and you can click the titles to go to the Goodreads page for each to get more info about them.

* While You Were Reading by Ali Berg & Michelle Kalus
Thanks to Simon and Schuester Australia and Books on the Rail for sending this book my way! I'm currently reading this one and will be taking part in the blog tour, so look out for my review next week.

*Whisper Network by Chandler Baker
This might be the most hyped book of this year? We are reading this one for Harry Hearts book club at my local Harry Hartog store.

*Crossings by Alex Landragin
This is the book for my other book club in July. It looks really interesting, and I'm intrigued by the fact it can be read in two different way - you can read it cover to cover for three associated stories, or skip around according to the instructions for one complete story!  So clever, and such a good pick for book club!

*Trails in the Dust by Joy Dettman
Thanks to Pan Macmillan Australia for sending me this copy! This is another one where I'll be participating in a blog tour - look out for my review around mid July!

*The Rumour by Lesley Kara
This was the book included with the Bookish Escape Crate box that arrived in May. My review will be going up on the Bookish Escape Crate website when I'm done.

So that's my main TBR for July. It is all adult fiction, and quite a bit of contemporary, so I'll probably try to squeeze in a bit of YA as well, AND I have Kate Forsyth's upcoming novel waiting for my attention too. I'm looking forward to talking more about these as I get to them!

  1. Did you feel like June went both impossibly slow and stupidly fast at the same time? Or is it just me?

    I totally want to read While You Were Reading, and Whisper Network - they both look so cool!

    Can't wait to hear your thoughts, Bron!
