Bout of Books 19
May 09, 2017This morning as I was poking around some book blogs I came across the Bout of Books read-a-thon It sounded like fun so, taadah!, here I am signing up. I'm technically a little late, since the Read-a-thon started yesterday, but thanks to time zones it isn't too late to sign up.
Here's some information about Bout of Books from their blog:
Goal setting is strictly optional in Bout of Books, but choosing a TBR can be half the fun of participating in a read-a-thon. So, these are the books I'm hoping to get through by Sunday:
- The Atomic Weight of Love by Elizabeth J Church (I'm a little over halfway through this and it's due back at the library tomorrow!)
- Jelly Bean Summer by Joyce Magnin (this is a middlegrade book about a family in the US during the Vietnam war)
- Goodwood by Holly Throsby (a debut novel set in rural Australia which has been super popular and taken ages to come to me in the library hold list!)
My other aim during Bout of Books is to participate in some of the challenges they hold during the week.
I'm also looking forward to checking out some new (to me) book blogs from the sign up list I've you've come here from the Bout of Books blog I'd love for you to say hi in the comments!
