I've been meaning to read this for ages, and was on my list a few months ago. I have a copy on loan from a friend and I do really want to return it to her soon1

The Buried Ark :: James Bradley (#loveozya)
This is the second book in Bradley's YA sci-fi (cli-fi) The Change series. I read book one (The Silent Invasion) as part of my mini readathon over the long weekend in May and really enjoyed it, so I bought this one as soon as it came out.

Emergence :: Marita Smith (#loveozya)
This is the second book in a YA sci-fi series (Kindred Ties) by local(ish) author Marita Smith. I read book one (Convergence) in May and absolutely loved it - I'm planning to write a bit about both after I read Emergence. Both of these were sent to me for review by Harbour Publishing.

Thunderhead :: Neal Shusterman
Another sequel - this one is book two in the Arc of a Scythe series. I'd had my eye on book one (Scythe) for a while, and getting Thunderhead in the mail from Walker Books was just the encouragement I needed to finally read it. Like the others, keep an eye out for a review of both books once I read this one.

The Life and Loves of Lena Gaunt :: Tracy Farr
I little while ago I got in touch with Fremantle Press about an anthology they have coming out in September of works by authors who are First Nations, People of Colour, LGBTIQA+ or living with disability (Meet Me at the Intersection  - it's available for pre-order here). As well as that book, they kindly offered to send me a few other title which they thought would meet some of the criteria for the Read Harder Challenge - one of which was The Life and Loves of Lena Gaunt (a book with a female protagonist over the age of 60).

Terra Nullius :: Claire G. Coleman

 This was on my list for either April or May (or maybe both?) and I'm determined to read it this month. From what I have heard I am in for a great read on this one - and I did meet Claire G Coleman at the Sydney Writer's Festival last month - so I am looking forward to it!

The Lily and the Rose :: Jackie French (#loveozya)
I was sent this one for review by Harper Collins, but didn't get to it the month that is came out (April, I think?). I did read the first book in this series then though - Miss Lily's Lovely Ladies, and thought it was gorgeous, so it will be great to see what happen next.

These are both historical fiction books about Australian women, and both new out from Harlequin Books, who sent them to me for review.

The Love that I Have :: James Moloney (#loveozya)
This book about a German girl working in the mail room of a concentration camp was pitched at the Teen Con session of the SWF All Day YA event. I thought it sounded like a must-read, so I was thrilled when Harper Collins sent me a copy. (I'm actually reading this one right now)

The Radical Element :: edited by Jessica Spotswood
This is another one sent to me by Walker Books - Goodreads says: "An an anthology of revolution and resistance, a sisterhood of YA writers shines a light on a century and a half of heroines on the margins and in the intersections." This sounds super cool, and I think I might start reading a story from it every night or two.

Tempests and Slaughter :: Tamora Pearce
There's one missing from the photo - I received a review copy of Tempests and Slaughter from Hachette (via NetGalley), but managed to miss the downloading window for the ebook and it was expired by the time I was ready to read it. I've finally got a copy from the library, so look out for a review soon.
